We have an exciting newly created role for a Portfolio Communications Specialist to join CUA’s People and Culture team within the Brisbane Hub office located in the heart of the CBD. This role is a key contributor to the success of both the People and Culture division and Strategy and Transformation business unit within the CFO division.

Reporting directly to the Senior Change Manager and working closely with other key stakeholders you will be a skilled communicator and an expert in juggling competing priorities. You will be comfortable working autonomously and have previous experience developing communication plans and schedules in collaboration with various teams across the business. You will have strong communication skills both written and verbally and a thorough understanding of the digital communications environment.

  • Technically proficient with a strong understanding of digital communications;
  • Adept at translating complex business messages into clear communication strategies;

Experience essentials...
  • Minimum 3 - 5 years’ experience in a corporate affairs or communications role preferably in the finance sector;
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field such as, Communications, Digital Media, IT, Business Finance or equivalent experience in a similar role;
  • Proven ability to build, maintain and influence relationships at all levels;
  • Exceptional business acumen with a broad understanding of key business and technology fundamentals;
  • High levels of initiative and the ability to hit the ground running.
