We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Category Insights Analyst to join our Marketing and Category team.
  
 Reporting to the Category Strategy Manager, this role will be responsible for developing and validating hypothesis on category and business performance across Stuart Alexander’s product portfolio.

Broadly, the key responsibilities of the role are:

• Ongoing development & maintenance of category & shopper focussed, used to build & leverage effective relationships across the wider SACO business.
• Regular communication with data & insight agencies with primary focus on maintaining data/database integrity, as well as maximising value from partnership.
• Coordinate the process for Stuart Alexander category reviews.
• Assist with development of customer specific category stories aligned with longer term category planning objectives.
• Contribute to NPD process to ensure NPD pipeline and executions are aligned with customer/shopper needs.
• Collaborate with shopper activation team to provide category and shopper guidance.

 
To be successful in this role you will possess:

• Proven analytical, & solutions focused problem solving skills
• Understanding of and experience in management of data/database integrity & business reporting
• Experience with the development & presentation of category stories
• Familiarity & understanding of category review process
• A good understanding of the Australian FMCG industry
• Previous experience in a Category / Business Analyst role desirable
• Previous experience with Nielsen/Aztec Scan & Homescan data desirable
• Previous experience with space planning tools such as JDA, Spaceman & Apollo desirable
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint skills essential
