The role of the Audience Strategist is to provide strategic and tactical people-based marketing support services to the Dentsu Aegis Network’s agency teams and their clients.

We’re looking for a data-savvy individual with an agile ‘can do’ attitude, outstanding communications skills and established technical competencies in digital campaign activation to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote people-based marketing solutions to DAN agencies and clients through the provision of consultancy services, training and new business support
  • Facilitate the onboarding of new clients onto strategic people-based marketing platforms
  • Manage the day-to-day delivery of people-based marketing campaigns including technical implementation, campaign tracking, troubleshooting and reporting
  • Work with the M1 Team to drive product development roadmaps, data acquisition strategies and platform integration solutions
  • Support the Head of Audience and Monetisation Strategy in the collation, analysis and presentation of data for business reporting, platform optimisation, data acquisition strategies, platform usage and billings tracking, product development strategies and other initiatives.
About you:
  • Great people skills: as a key ambassador for people-based marketing products and services, you’ll be working cross-functionally to bring the promise of people-based marketing to life with clients and agency stakeholders through consulting, education and the delivery of great campaign results. A talent for presenting and good PowerPoint skills highly regarded.
  • Passion and agility: we’re looking for individuals who are motivated, inspired, hardworking, dynamic and willing to ‘roll up their sleeves and get their hands dirty’, as we continue to develop, test and deploy new solutions. Expect to be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of people-based marketing campaigns on the one hand, while leveraging your expertise and inspiration to help drive innovation and product development on the other.
  • Digital expertise: you’ll need to have a solid grounding in digital marketing with a minimum of 3 years prior experience in a digital / programmatic campaign management role or similar, and a great understanding of the Australian digital, data and technology landscape.
  • Numeracy, data literacy, attention to detail: all the boring but necessary stuff! You’ll be working with numbers a lot, and you’ll be engaging with data/tech SMEs and analysts regularly, so you’ll need to be very comfortable with spreadsheets, tables, learning new technologies and hanging out with, well… geeks. Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy a must! 
  • You’ll also need to be organised, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously, collaborative and excited to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • An interest in people, psychology, CX, CRM and/or personalised communications will be highly regarded, as will prior experience in a client-side marketing role and/or a passion for communications strategy.
