Based in Rydalmere and with onsite parking, this company has a fantastic opportunity to join their busy and professional Product Management team.
This role would suit someone from a product/ manufacturing environment, and would be ideally the next step for a Marketing Coordinator that wants to get into product management, an Assistant Product Manager with 1-2 years’ experience, or a Junior Product Manager.
Reporting to the Senior Product Manager your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Analyse and present business cases for new products for internal and external parties
- Work with design, dimensions and process improvement for new product development
- Coordinating with the marketing team to update and maintain POS material including brochures
- Calculation, analysis and implementation of pricing strategies
- Management of product life-cycle
- Forecasting for the purchasing team
- Monitoring and tracking results
- Analysis of data to improve product sales and profit margins
- Providing technical support to internal and external customers
- Assist with presentations and launch events, product reviews and product meetings
- Assisting with general administrative and other duties
To be considered for this exciting role, the following skills and experience are required:
- Have a proven experience working in a similar role within a manufacturing product-based environment
- Degree qualifications in marketing and/or relevant discipline
- Advanced MS Word, Excel (Look ups Pivot tables) and PowerPoint
- Strong understanding of Qlikview and JDE, or similar.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to analyse data and interpret results
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong presentation skills
- Ability to multitask and work in high volume of work and fast paced and deadline driven environment
- Initiative and strong judgement
- Strong attention to detail
- Be a lateral thinker that is solutions focused
- Ability to grasp technical concepts
