As the NPD Coordinator based at our Crows Nest head office, you will lead the NPD process that delivers our exciting, challenging and extensive innovation pipeline.

Using your exceptional project management capabilities, inspiring people skills, and broad business acumen, you will bring together multi-functional teams across different geographies to facilitate the efficient creation, development, and execution of NPD.  

Working 3 days per week, your key responsibilities will be:

• Leading the NPD Stage Gate process to deliver the execution of NPD in full and on time by:
  • Coordinating teams from the supply and demand sides of the business to deliver the innovation pipeline;
  • Chair and drive project meetings with a wide variety of stake holders from business directors, project team members, and factory operational teams;
  • Train new team members in the process of NPD;
  • Support project managers in the correct management of NPD documentation and timelines;
  • Pull together overview of the progress and priority-status of all projects for regular presentation to the management team.

• Collaborating with functions involved in NPD to continually improve the efficiency of our Stage Gate process as we grow into new global markets.
• Facilitating the automation of our Stage Gate process by partnering with internal and external IT teams

The ideal candidate:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
• Can lead complex projects; under time pressure, with multiple stakeholders, across more than one geographical location
• Will be highly organised with an acute attention to detail
• Can identify and communicate the interaction between commercial requirements and supply chain capabilities
• Demonstrates excellent people skills; is confident in large groups, an expert communicator across a diverse range of stakeholders & capable to holding people accountable to their actions
• Committed team-player
• Process orientated with an entrepreneurial flare
• Proactive and drives for the continuous improvement of processes
• Enjoys working at pace & enthusiastically embraces change
• Has a sound knowledge across the Microsoft office suite Project professional & SharePoint
