The company is continuously looking for new ideas and trends that result in an ever-growing portfolio that utilises the best products from the best manufacturers worldwide. Service is key to their philosophy and as such they are committed to providing second to none service across the business.
  
Reporting to the Australian Managing Director and working as part of the global marketing team, this role will oversee the marketing portfolio for their Australian business, and be instrumental in driving a stronger brand presence. There will be a particular focus across their web and social media channels which will create new leads and improve conversion.
  
Initial Responsibilities are to:
  • Undertake an analysis and report on current sales lead sources and their quality, as well as an analysis of current showroom traffic across their four sites in Sydney, Melbourne and Newcastle
  • Identify the most effective sources for lead generation/conversion both online and on site, and develop an appropriate campaign strategy and calendar – increase presence across all social media channels
  • Be hands on in executing campaigns, working with a test and measure approach. They would like to double foot traffic in their showrooms and there is room for better utilisation of their web site and free sample offers to create and convert opportunities
  • Research opportunities for sponsorship of awards or increased involvement with industry bodies
  • Oversee the design and creation of quarterly publication and distribution, as well as other key marketing collateral such as product technical brochures
  • Manage internal communications, including product launch information, monthly newsletters, etc
  • Manage events and promotional activity
  
Ideally you will:
  • Have 8-10 years + experience in similar roles, ideally with a background in the building products industry or similar
  • Marketing degree or relevant tertiary qualification
  • Demonstrated  understanding of digital and social media marketing
  • Experience in budgeting and forecasting
  • Demonstrate success in planning, costing and executing a 12-month marketing calendar
  • Professional communication skills, both written and verbal
