Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings (NCLH) are a global leader in cruise with three world class brands, Norwegian Cruise Line, Oceania Cruises & Regent Seven Seas, and aggressive growth plans for Asia Pacific.
  
They are seeking a results-driven PR Executive to join their APAC team in Sydney's CBD.  Reporting to the Vice President, Marketing, Asia Pacific and working closely with the Asia Pacific and global NCLH marketing teams, this hands-on role will act as custodian for the Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings brands in Asia Pacific. The role will be a stakeholder in PR planning for the region and accountable for developing a PR strategy and activity plan, as well as executing regional PR initiatives and activities to timeframe and to budget.
  
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop the public relations and communications strategies and activities across Asia Pacific to support the overall business objectives
• Develop a media and event strategy across the three brands
• Manage the NCLH PR agency portfolio across the region
• Review and brief in content for press releases, byline articles and keynote presentations
• Monitor, analyse and communicate PR results monthly
• Build relationships with industry and media leaders to grow brand awareness
• Maintain an understanding of industry trends and make appropriate communication strategy and tactics surrounding them
• Develop and execute a regional crisis management plan
• Coordinate all other public relations activities including media events & partnerships
• Key stakeholder in content & channel strategy to engage audiences across traditional & new media
• Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within industry media
• Manage media inquiries and interview requests across the region
• Evaluate opportunities for partnerships and sponsorships on an on-going basis
• Proactively source innovative public relations opportunities and collaborations to promote the brand's spokespersons
• Develop & maintain strong relationships across internal & external stakeholders including NCL offices in Asia, Miami and UK and provide expert advice, support and services as required
• Work closely with marketing teams to integrate PR as a key element of broader campaigns, adopt global policy and ways of working

  
  
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• 3-5 years working experience in public relations
• Proven track record designing and executing successful public relations campaigns at both a local and regional level
• Strong relationships with both local and regional business and industry media outlets
• Experience in acting as a company spokesperson; comfortable and skilled in both broadcast and print media interviews
• Exceptional writing and editing skills
• Solid experience with social media including blogs, Facebook, Twitter, wechat, weibo, etc.
• Event planning experience
• A highly motivated and exceptional communicator able to adapt and engage with diverse audiences
• BA/MA degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or a related discipline
• Experience in the Travel industry, as well as with a large multinational across different markets is highly desirable
