We are currently looking for a Conversion Optimisation Specialist to join our team based in our support office in East Bentleigh! This role will support the design and implementation of the Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) roadmap for the eCommerce team, identifying new opportunities to improve onsite conversion, and supported by the A/B Testing Coordinator to plan and implement CRO initiatives on the Officeworks’ website.

Role responsibilities:

  • Support the design and implementation of an evolving conversion optimisation roadmap that focuses on improving sales and customer engagement
  • Define and stay on top of key performance indicators (KPIs) by building, automating and maintaining a series of dashboards and reports to help identify trends and patterns for problem diagnosis and action steering
  • Collect, analyse and act on a variety of data inputs – from web analytics to user behaviour - to proactively identify opportunities and conversion testing strategies
  • Facilitate end-to-end conversion test launch and targeting process: test/targeting outline, creative design, code development, QA, launch, analysis, findings deliverable and results communication
  • Deliver reports - both written and in presentation form - of key findings and progress of conversion optimisation on a monthly and quarterly basis
  • Conduct monthly strategy meetings to review insights and ideate cross functional conversion testing strategies
  • Advocate best practices and latest trends in digital analytics and conversion rate optimisation tactics
  • Demonstrate a sound understanding of customer needs and behaviours

Experience required: 

  • 2-3 years’ experience working in a similar conversion optimisation role with high volume digital channels
  • High degree of knowledge in online conversion rate optimisation best practice
  • Experience using A/B & multivariate testing tools and analytical tools
  • Demonstrable use of performance metrics and user insights to inform strategy
  • Solid understanding of customer needs and behaviours and the user experience journey
  • Knowledge of UX and CS Web design experience
  • Familiar with Agile and Iterative Development
