The role
The Life-cycle Campaign Manager is responsible for delivering best in class, automated direct marketing activity across the carsales network.  This highly hands-on role involves the end to end planning, execution, and management of a variety of 1-to-1 direct customer communications and programmes pivotal to engaging and commercialising our 4M+ strong member audience.

What you’ll do
  • Develop and deliver innovative, targeted, automated channel campaigns end to end – including template design and copy, build, testing, tracking, deployment, distribution, reporting and optimisation
  • Provide actionable insights to the business (working with Insights Partners) utilising campaign and site performance metrics alongside underlying data sets
  • Independently own the entire campaign development process, collaborating with specialist teams, external partners and agencies where applicable
  • Be the subject matter expert in all things automation and the email platform guru, offering best practice insights, strategic recommendations and guidance to our many stakeholders
  • Work with the wider marketing team to ensure all customer communications are always on-brand and on-message, including the look and feel, copy content and call to action
  • Continually enhance marketing communications to apply past campaigns learnings and optimisation recommendations
  • Liaise with the in-house sales team to develop complementary, native monetisation opportunities where possible
  • Own the content creation requirements for campaigns and strategies with written communication skills, copywriting and an eye for detail is one of your key strengths
 What you'll have 
  • Understanding of digital and direct marketing principals – client side B2C digital marketing experience preferred
  • Experience executing 1-1 customer experience campaigns that drive engagement and profitability with recent examples demonstrating ROI particularly with strong retention marketing exposure
  • Expert knowledge of marketing automation solutions with a min 2-3 years of hand on experience with an enterprise level ESP
  • Proven ability to work with complex data sets to identify key insights and opportunities for CX improvement
  • Proficient in HTML and CSS
  • Sold back using Google Analytics or similar reporting platform
  • Experience creating relevant content
  • Solid understanding of website and email development processes
