A vacancy exists for a Trade Marketing Executive within the wholesale division for Helloworld Travel Limited.
Helloworld Travel Limited is one of Australia’s leading integrated travel businesses, providing specialist government and corporate business travel, wholesale products, franchised retail services and ticket distribution services across 8 countries.
About the role:
The purpose of this role is to monitor and manage the execution of advertising and promotional campaigns in market in line with the company’s strategy, meeting delivery deadlines to support the organisation’s wholesale brands, specifically Qantas Holidays, Sunlover Holidays, Territory Discoveries, Viva! Holidays, Insider Journeys, The Cruise Team and Rail Tickets.
The key outcome of this role is to ensure all campaigns are visible, understood and compelling to consumers and/or agents, to increase engagement, conversion and generate a positive return on investment.
This role benefits the organisation by ensuring successful delivery of advertising and promotional campaigns to target selected audiences through our trade distribution partners.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Previous experience in the travel or tourism industry
- Sound knowledge of key International and Australian destinations and the tourism industry
- Superior time management skills with a flexible approach to work as priorities change
- Experience in a high pressure, deadline driven environment
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills including proof reading and negotiation
- High level computer skills, including experience with Adobe Suite
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing, Tourism/Travel or equivalent practical experience (desirable but not essential)
