- This role can be located in either Melbourne, Sydney, or Brisbane
About the role
As the brand portfolio Marketing Content Specialist, you will support the implementation of brand and marketing content strategies, and co-ordinate content marketing, social engagement activities and relevant partnerships. Specifically, the role will support the Apia Good Life and Shannons Club content platforms.
You will amplify branded content to build reputation for innovative and tailored customer experiences beyond traditional financial products and services, and support the delivery of a differentiated brand narrative which works to attract new customers, retain existing customers and drives consideration with prospects.
More specifically you will
- Implement our Portfolio customer contact strategies, as well as conducting ongoing reviews for continual improvement
- Deliver integrated, targeted and relevant marketing content and social campaigns across all brands and channels. Take a channel agnostic view to achieving superior business and customer outcomes
- Manage and Liaise with key agencies and content partners in support of the portfolio.
- Coordinate marketing content to align to defined brand objectives, programs and audience strategies.
- Coordinate content for social, customer lifecycle, digital and brand platforms across the portfolio – incl Apia Goodlife, Shannons Club, CIL Campsite and Terri Scheer.
- Support the delivery of a differentiated brand narrative to attract new customers and retain existing customers.
- Work with the Customer Lifecycle and Digital teams to define audience pool strategies aligned to customer communication journeys.
- Coordinate content in paid, earned, owned and shared channels to build relevance to key segments across lifestyles, behaviours and interests.
- Work with DigiCare team to inform of upcoming social media activity, to inform workforce planning
- Manage regular social listening and campaign reporting
- Maintain a strong commercial understanding of the business and operating environment to stay close to priorities.
Knowledge and Experience
- A tertiary qualification in Business, or Marketing is desired
- Several years of marketing experience marketing experience in a similar environment (either Client or Agency side) with a focus on social media marketing, community management, digital marketing, direct marketing and/or customer marketing.
- Experience using and developing actionable insights from analytics platforms
- Graphic/web design experience is beneficial but not necessary
