Due to recent growth we’re looking for an ambitious and curious Senior Account Manager / Account Manager to join our Melbourne team. This is a fast-track career role, working with a fun team of PR professionals. You will also work closely with the Head of Media, honing your media relations skills while leading key client accounts.
You will be working on a prestigious client portfolio spanning health, technology, telecommunications and government.
You are someone who can manage a campaign from start to finish, collaborating across teams to execute a deliver across PR, social media influencers, content and activations.
Your background is primarily in tech, health and/or corporate PR, but your skills are easily transferrable to government and B2B clients where your experience will shine through.
Your qualities:
- Curious, persistent and focused
- A team player who likes to have fun
- Intelligent with strong client relationship management skills
- Passionate about creating exemplary work and delivering flawlessly
Must haves:
- Minimum of 4-6 years’ experience in a public relations consultancy or in-house govt/corp role
- Experience in social media, influencer and content marketing campaigns
- Proven media relationships
- PR experience in one or more of: health, pharma, tech, telecommunications or government
- Excellent written and presentation skills
- Relevant tertiary degree
Key responsibilities:
- Plan and manage key client accounts
- Building PR and social media strategies and content plans
- PR campaigns, events and launches
- Trade and consumer PR
- Assisting with proposals and new business pitches
- Monthly client reporting, budgeting and forecasting
