About the role

Our Research Managers are responsible for the delivery of research projects to the highest quality. They need to be passionate about developing insights from data that can inform managerial action. 

This role specialises in a combination of syndicated and bespoke research projects.  The Research Manager controls the full lifecycle of a project from questionnaire development, sample and quota planning, data analysis and report production. The role is supported by a team of analysts to help with the running of projects.

Skills and experience

We are looking for a candidate with a solid competency in market research techniques and approaches. An understanding of what underpins customer needs and subsequently developing research for clients to address these needs. You will be a constructive collaborator and data curious.

You appreciate the need to communicate data in a way that clients can simply and easily understand by summarising, identifying insights and be able to provide visually appealing findings.

You should have -

  • 3-4 years experience in quantitative market research
  • Tertiary qualification in a business, science or data orientated field
  • Experienced in using SPSS or Q, and the interpretation of the results produced
  • Be an accomplished user of all MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint)

Any of the following would be considered a bonus -

  • Experience in preparing and developing data visualisations either for reports and/or dashboards
  • Advanced statistical analysis skills and their application (including regression modelling, latent class analysis, factor analysis)
  • Experience in the use of IBM Dimensions (Unicom Intelligence)
