The Office of Marketing and Communications (OMC) plays an important role in developing the University's overall marketing and communication strategy as well as supporting its academic groups to increase market share and promote teaching and research achievement. The team operates across a range of areas including:

The opportunity
We are currently looking for an experienced, strategic marketing professional to develop and deliver marketing strategies for Griffith Business School. This role contributes to the development of the University's marketing plans and provides senior academic staff within Griffith Business School with tactical marketing advice and support across a range of products including advertising, digital communications, direct marketing and production of marketing collateral.

The Marketing Manager will bring industry knowledge and awareness of emerging trends and issues across the portfolio. You will develop and implement targeted marketing strategies to attract high achieving undergraduate and postgraduate students to the University and its academic programs. You will evaluate marketing data and provide reports and advice to Griffith Business School to inform marketing strategies.

This is a 12 months fixed term position, based at either the Nathan or Gold Coast campus.

About you
The successful applicant will possess a marketing degree and/or other tertiary qualifications with a strong focus on marketing, with demonstrated experience in higher education and/or the business industry. To be successful in this role, you will have strong track record of providing strategic and tactical marketing advice, developing and implementing targeted marketing strategies and writing briefs on behalf of clients. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and you will demonstrate commitment to providing responsive client service.

Salary range
HEW Level 7: $82,577 - $89,464 per annum plus superannuation.
