We are currently looking to appoint a PR/Internal Communications Manager to build brand connections amongst our team members and guests by ensuring that the brand, team members and on-premise messages are aligned. Specifically, this position will be responsible for managing the integration of strategies, seamless communication of key initiatives to The Star team and assisting with the marketing of The Star as Sydney's premier entertainment destination.
This role will also be responsible content creation including publishing The Star Magazine along with trade and industry newsletters as well as managing & building The Star's charity/community relationships and strategies.
We are looking for someone with experience in corporate and internal communications, with exceptional attention to detail, a willingness to try new things and the drive to improve communications processes.
Required Skills & Experience;
· Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, such as a degree in formal communications.
· 7 years plus experience in an internal communications role in a dynamic and changing environment. Experience might have been gained in a consultancy or in-house in a corporate environment.
· Solid experience in media relationships, especially gained in the Sydney market place would be highly advantageous.
· Previous experience in facilitating change in a service oriented organisation.
· Ability to deal with a diverse range of stakeholders, to executive level in a fast paced environment
· A knowledge of the Sydney leisure and entertainment industry would also be an advantage
