Your new company
A statutory body of one of the largest state government departments is looking for an experienced VPS5 level Community Engagement Officer for a period of 12 months.
Your new role
Reporting to the Manager, Community Engagement, the Senior Community Engagement Officer is responsible for managing communications and community engagement activities across a significant program. Responsibilities will include developing, managing and implementing stakeholder / community engagement and communications strategies. You will also provide ongoing support and engagement to communities, ensuring projects meet community needs. This role will also require identifying and responding promptly to community issues and developing mitigation strategies in consultation with senior management as required
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this role you will need proven senior communications engagement experience. You will have experience developing and implementing community engagement strategies for large complex projects. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
