The Opportunity
The Media and Communications Coordinator, role works closely with the Marketing and Communications Manager, to develop and implement communications activities that support Kidney Health Australia’s brand building and fundraising initiatives.
You are crucial in supporting the development and facilitation of our Media, PR strategy and Ambassador Program.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Support development and execution of Kidney Health Australia’s Media strategy to raise the profile and positioning of Kidney Health Australia and awareness of kidney disease.
· Coordination media calendar and timeline in line with Kidney Health Australia’s strategies and initiatives.
· Write media releases and media materials, research story ideas, pitch ideas direct to media and respond to media requests.
· Create and deliver PR plans to publicise fundraising appeals, events and campaigns.
· Support and administer media monitoring procedures, stakeholder distribution and reporting.
· Manage administration including media clippings, reporting, KPI tracking, media list management and budget tracking etc.
· Write and coordinate key communications products (including internal communications, biographies, online content and presentations).
· Coordinate media monitoring activities, including daily media summaries and regular media coverage reports.
· Create communications for both consumer and corporate activity.
· Support the development and execution of Kidney Health Australia’s Ambassador Program.
