About the role

As Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for strategically developing and leading the implementation of a brand plan to achieve business outcomes for By-Health (International),  to extend the global footprint of By-Health with Australia as the 1st overseas market. You will translate the company objectives into marketing strategies and drive for a successful launch of By-Health International into Australia market and also capture the business opportunity of Chinese cross-border Ecommerce via Daigou or China Ecommerce platform. You will focus on consumer marketing, advertising and media ensuring it aligns with our brand strategy. Working cross functionally and partnering with key external stakeholders you will communicate and integrate our strategies to deliver campaign objectives as well as overseeing the day to day planning and co-ordination and ensuring the strategic plans and objectives are delivered.

Key Objectives / Outcomes

  • Develop (annual) brand plan including strategies based on organisational objectives and tactical activities
  • Work with agencies to develop yearly communications and channel plan, including the use of existing and new and emerging technologies
  • Develop, manage and lead implementation of consumer advertising/media campaigns including setting campaign objectives and ensuring materials are on brand
  • Ensure all campaigns and materials comply with industry regulations and guidelines
  • Identify and manage all types of consumer market research projects (including Brand health, NPD, segmentation, concept testing, etc.) to facilitate quality decision making of the organisation
  • Monitor and analyse market conditions and competitor activities 
  • Work with the business to understand NPD opportunities and develop market launch plans
  • Collaborate with broader team with strategic and tactical brand projects including POS, LAM, field team comms, etc. using existing and emerging technologies
  • Manage and liaise with relevant agencies (Media, Advertising, Research, PR, etc.) ensuring the brand is pushed to new levels and meeting agreed objectives
  • Increase overall brand health
  • Responsible for the measurement of ROI and evaluation of effectiveness of campaigns

Qualification & Required Expertise

  • 8+ yrs experience in FMCG or OTC brand management
  • Experience working in the VMS Category highly desirable
  • Experience with international markets a plus (China highly regarded)
  • Exceptional communication skills in English both verbal and written, proficient communication in Chinese is highly preferred

Knowledge & Experience

  • Ability to analyse category data to measure success and to develop insights
  • Ability to turn consumer insights into deliverable brand plans and key messages
  • Knowledge and understanding of marketing within the healthcare sector or VMS category
  • Experience in qualitative and quantitative market research
  • Proficiency in managing and directing agencies and strategic vendors
  • Experience working in a cross-functional team and strong relationship builder
  • Knowledge of market trends and category insights in the VMS category both domestically and in emerging markets
  • Experience in analysing category data to measure success and ROI
  • Experience in analysing, interpreting and responding to consumer insights with brand plans and key messages
  • Thriving in a fast-paced environment managing competing priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and present with confidence to influence business outcomes
  • Strong and respectful interpersonal, communication and influencing skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, business savvy and the ability to multitask.
