THE ROLE

As Community Engagement Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing, managing and implementing integrated community & influencer campaigns for a selection of the latest Ubisoft titles as well as its e-sports offerings. The implementation of a dedicated community & influencer strategy for all campaigns in conjunction with the relevant brand teams is a critical component of the role. 

The role offers budget management, autonomy and career advancement for the right individual.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to Group Marketing Manager, your main duties will include:

YouTubers & Influencers

  • Lead, develop and execute YouTuber, Influencer & Community plans for key titles

  • Develop direct relationships with consumers and brand advocates via community initiatives (such as the Star Player Program) and events

  • Manage the flow of assets to the YouTuber channels and influencers database.

  • Co-ordinate management of local YouTuber & influencer events as required.

  • Engage in community discussion with enthusiasm and professionalism.

  • Maintain and grow a database of YouTuber channels & influencers for regular communication around opportunities with Ubisoft Australia.

Social Media

  • Responsible for regular communication on Ubisoft branded social media properties (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter). This includes ownership of e-commerce and mobile promotions.

  • Produce timely reports and recommendations based on feedback from the community through social media, community forums and events

  • Maintain accurate social media analytics and communicate updates to the team.

  • Develop and execute initiatives to drive growth and recruitment across Ubisoft branded social media properties (e.g. Facebook, Instagram and Twitter).

  • Execute engagement strategies for key titles on existing platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Twitch) and emerging social media channels.

  • Produce monthly reports on Ubisoft & competitor influencer & social media activity.

  • Communicate in “real time” from Consumer events (e.g. PAX) where relevant and generate timely post event reports.

THE INDIVIDUAL

  • Degree qualified with one – two (1-2) years relevant experience in a Community role

  • Additional experience in a social media capacity is highly advantageous

  • An understanding of e-sports is highly regarded, but not essential

  • You will be an achievement orientated, motivated individual who is passionate about a career in Community Management

  • The ideal candidate must display excellent communication and time management skills, be proactive and enthusiastic and be able to fit into a vibrant team environment. 

  • The successful candidate must also be available for regular overseas travel.

  • An interest in entertainment/technology/video games is preferred, but not essential
