We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic Communications Coordinator to join SUEZ’s Corporate Affairs & Communications team. The role would ideally suit a recent graduate in Journalism, Media, Communications or Business looking to kick-start their career in a global organisation. Opportunities for training, learning and development are available to you to advance your career and skills.

You will help us create compelling and creative content whether it's using video or the humble printed word. You'll be a team player, have excellent organisational skills and be ready to assist on big and small campaigns and projects for the team. You will also help support our engagement with stakeholders and communities in areas where we operate. Furthermore, you will help deliver proactive internal and external communications to share our news and views in Australia & New Zealand.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • Assist the implementation of internal and external communication strategies and plans
  • Support implementation of SUEZ Community Grants & community investment activities
  • Maintain our network of internal communications channels to reach our diverse workforce
  • Contribute to social media content and planning
  • Undertake media monitoring, research and develop and maintain media and government databases
  • Support Marketing, Communications & Corporate Affairs team members on events, campaigns and projects
  • Assist with team planning, reports and meetings

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Tertiary qualifications in journalism, media, communications or business
  • Relevant work experience in the industry or a recent graduate that’s proven yourself through internships
  • Exceptional communication, coordination, drive and enthusiasm
  • Sound organisation and time management skills
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office
