We are assisting this client for the appointment of 2 APS 6 Communications Officers that have experience in stakeholder engagement and communications.
This role will be working to a high profile project that will affect every day Australian’s, and it is suited to someone who can juggle many duties and loves a busy environment.
Located in the Canberra CBD, you will assist in managing the communication aspects of the work of this project, including working closely with members of the section to implement a communications and stakeholder engagement strategy.
Tasks will include but not limited to:
- Researching and developing advice;
- Preparation of briefings, presentations and correspondence;
- Development of collateral and media materials;
- Media monitoring;
- Engaging with a wide range of stakeholders; and
- Possible attendance at community information sessions (as required)
Demonstrated excellent written and oral communications skills and experience liaising with a range of stakeholders and an ability to work in a dynamic environment, prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and adapt to changing demands.
Public sector experience with experience in communications would be desirable but not required, however you MUST have a baseline clearance to be considered for this role.
