Market Research – Fieldwork Operations Supervisor

Our Advisory division provides recommendations to our clients based on market research data, and the quality of this work has won some of Australia’s largest projects in the market research industry.

 

About the role:

Two x Fieldwork Operations Supervisor positions available for the office management of Team Leaders and fieldworkers. Supervisors are responsible for the achievement of team goals by directing up to twelve Team Leaders in the office and over 70 field staff.

This position is office-based with occasional field days to validate and provide coaching to our staff working in the field.

To be considered for this role, you must be available for three to five shifts per week. Shift requirements and length may vary.

Our projects operate 24 hours a day/7 days a week. As a result, it is an expectation your roster will occasionally cover weekends and night shifts on a rotational basis.

 

This role will involve the following responsibilities:

  • Building high performance teams, with a focus on people development and client deliverables
  • Performance management, team goal creation, ongoing coaching and feedback
  • Stakeholder management, understanding the client and project to consistently meet quota
  • Establishing required project resources and scheduling
  • Recruitment, on-boarding and exit processes
  • Cost and budget considerations within project management requirements
  • Escalating issues to relevant Support Managers as necessary
  • Report documentation to meet internal and external industry standards
  • Workload allocation and contingency planning
  • Leadership of team meetings and events
  • Effective communication with project managers, data analysts, senior members of EY Sweeney and external stakeholders
  • Driving initiatives for continual innovation of processes and work culture

 

This role requires the following competencies:

  • Impeccable written and verbal communication
  • Superior attention to detail
  • Intermediate to Advanced technical Excel skills
  • Microsoft Office and custom applications as required
  • Experience in an office or administrative role
  • Previous Market Research Field experience desirable
  • Formal training in marketing, business, psychology or closely related field will be highly regarded
