MANAGER, STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT

The Manager, Stakeholder Engagement will manage industry stakeholder and community engagement for the multi-million dollar Agriculture Victoria Research division. The role involves -
- providing leadership and management to deliver innovative, best practice industry stakeholder and community engagement and education initiatives;
- broadening the reach and connectedness of the division by increasing engagement with stakeholders and raising awareness of research and innovation;
- promoting divisional capability amongst agricultural industries, businesses and local and international communities; and
- driving excellence in industry stakeholder and community engagement as well as education and training.
As the successful candidate for the position, you will -
- have a track record in leading successful industry and community engagement initiatives in agricultural science and technology;
- be expert in building and maintaining productive relationships with a range of industry and community stakeholders;
- be an expert listener and communicator across a range of audiences, with a focus on delivering impact through collaboration, stakeholder and community engagement, as well as people development and capacity building;
- be skilled in synthesising complex issues and providing appropriate strategies and solutions; and
- have experience in staff supervision and team leadership.
The position of Manager, Stakeholder Engagement is part of Agriculture Victoria Research division's Operations branch in the Employment, Investment and Trade group.
The Employment, Investment and Trade Group delivers programs and services to grow the Victorian economy. Its focus is on creating jobs and raising incomes through industry development, targeted investment and increasing the export value of Victorian firms.
