About the role
An opportunity exists for a results-driven sales and promotions officer to actively seek out and engage customer prospects, across NSW, TAS, SA and VIC. You will provide complete and appropriate solutions for every customer in order to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels and profitability.
The successful candidate will have proven experience working in a similar role. Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential. You will be proactive with the ability to motivate yourself and your peers. Good computer skills and a pleasant competent personality a must.
Your skills and knowledge is expected to have demonstrated achievement or capability in the following areas:
- Present, promote and sell services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers.
- Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
- Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
- Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
- Fantastic with Teenagers and younger children
- Conducting speeches in front of school children, parents etc.
- Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
- Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
- Analyze area/territory/market's potential, track sales and status reports
- Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services
- Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
- Continuously improve through feedback
Criteria
It is a rewarding yet challenging role. You are critical to the success of the practice and as such you need to:
- Proven work in promotions and sales experience
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office
- Familiarity with CRM practices along with ability to build productive business professional relationships
- Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
- Passionate about teenagers and children
- Interest in teaching and promoting
- Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
- Prioritising, time management and organisational skills
- Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
- Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
- Degree or equivalent
