Job tasks and responsibilities
- Develop content strategy aligned with short-term and long-term marketing targets
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to plan and develop site content, style and layout
- Create and publish engaging content
- Stay up-to-date with developments and generate new ideas to draw audience's attention
- Create press releases
- Development of brand awareness and online reputation
- Administrate the creation and publishing of relevant, original, high-quality content.
- Manage social media marketing campaigns and day-to-day activities.
- Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video and written).
- Oversee design (ie: Facebook Timeline cover, profile pic, thumbnails, ads, landing pages, YouTube, Instagram, and blogs.
- Build website content
- Create and edit videos and pictures for the use of marketing material.
- Create and Design Marketing Materials such as Brochures, Presentations, flyers and posters.
Skills and experience
- Experience sourcing and managing content development and publishing.
- Exhibits the ability to jump from the creative side of marketing to analytical side, able to demonstrate why their ideas are analytically sound.
- Producing, Filming and Editing video content
- Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Linkedln etc.) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios.
- Maintains excellent writing and language skills.
- Displays ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and video format.
- Experience within Graphic Design including use of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
- Makes evident good technical understanding and can pick up new tools quickly.
- Proven work experience as a Content and Social Media Manager
- Hands on experience with MS Office and WordPress
- Basic technical knowledge of HTML and web publishing
- Excellent writing skills in English
- Attention to detail
- Good organizational and time-management skills
