Job tasks and responsibilities

  • Develop content strategy aligned with short-term and long-term marketing targets
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to plan and develop site content, style and layout
  • Create and publish engaging content
  • Stay up-to-date with developments and generate new ideas to draw audience's attention
  • Create press releases 
  • Development of brand awareness and online reputation
  • Administrate the creation and publishing of relevant, original, high-quality content.
  • Manage social media marketing campaigns and day-to-day activities.
  • Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video and written).
  • Oversee design (ie: Facebook Timeline cover, profile pic, thumbnails, ads, landing pages, YouTube, Instagram, and blogs.
  • Build website content 
  • Create and edit videos and pictures for the use of marketing material. 
  • Create and Design Marketing Materials such as Brochures, Presentations, flyers and posters. 

Skills and experience

 

  • Experience sourcing and managing content development and publishing.
  • Exhibits the ability to jump from the creative side of marketing to analytical side, able to demonstrate why their ideas are analytically sound.
  • Producing, Filming and Editing video content
  • Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Linkedln etc.) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios.
  • Maintains excellent writing and language skills.
  • Displays ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and video format.
  • Experience within Graphic Design including use of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
  • Makes evident good technical understanding and can pick up new tools quickly.
  • Proven work experience as a Content and Social Media Manager
  • Hands on experience with MS Office and WordPress
  • Basic technical knowledge of HTML and web publishing
  • Excellent writing skills in English
  • Attention to detail
  • Good organizational and time-management skills
