We’re seeking a new shining star to join our Marketing and Communication team!

About our Centre Support Office

Located in the Brisbane CBD, our Centre Support Office provides support for more than 160 child care centres around Australia. We’re passionate about supporting our centres, who deliver high quality early education and fun for more than 14,000 children! Use your creative marketing and communication skills to support child care industry leaders, teachers and educators who are dedicated to inspiring and nurturing children during their first five years of life. Create compelling and highly engaging digital and traditional content and marketing material which will build our brands and educate our stakeholders.  Develop and support commercially-relevant marketing and business initiatives to help us achieve our ultimate goal: connecting with Australian families.

We need our new Shining Star to be adaptable, intuitive and keen to make an impact quickly.  You must have excellent communication skills, appreciation of commercial objectives, a positive attitude and genuine work ethic.  Strong organisation and attention to detail are essential strengths.

About your role:

Reporting to the Head of Brand and Communication, your role will include:

• Communication and stakeholder engagement activities across multiple channels including Facebook, websites, email, surveys, newsletters
• Brand development including re-branding projects for child care centres
• Managing and maintaining our internal social network (similar to Yammer)
• Local Area Marketing advice and support for our child care centres
• Creating and delivering employee and customer campaigns via multiple channels including CRM software (eDMs), website, graphic design concepts, blogs, newsletters, Facebook, print, video and more.  
• Contributing to and implementing our annual marketing and communication plan
• Support for crisis or issues management
• Industry partnerships
• Database and supplier management

Your essential qualifications and skills:

• Marketing and/or Communication qualifications
• Evidence of at least 2-3 years relevant experience
• Outstanding written skills for both business and creative purposes
• Experience utilising a wide variety of marketing and communication channels
• Passion for branding and engagement

Your highly regarded experience:

• Photoshop and/or InDesign
• Survey Monkey and MailChimp
• Content management for websites and Facebook
