From a humble food store in Melbourne's southeast into an iconic part of the city's culinary scene, Oasis Murrumbeena is home to a bustling café, a gourmet grocery store, a deli of epicurean proportions, a fresh food market and popular cooking school. 2018 brings a new chapter to the Oasis story with construction commencing on a long anticipated second Oasis store in Melbourne’s inner northern suburbs. 

We are looking for a highly motivated and results focused Marketing and Communications Specialist who can take ownership of conceptualising and implementing a marketing strategy focusing on digital marketing and in-store marketing as well as brand exposure through events, social media, and internal and external promotional activity.

The candidate will have a strong handle on digital marketing, strategic planning and analysis,  and exposure in the retail and hospitality industries. The candidate will also be capable of devising and implementing digital marketing campaigns and have a proven track record of maximising brand exposure and revenue generation whilst ensuring that all initiatives are aligned with our brand standards to maximise return on investment. The candidate will have a broad network within the retail, hospitality and tourism industries and must have at least five years' previous experience in a similar role. A passion for food and the food industry is a must.

The candidate will -

• Be responsible for devising, implementing and tracking the success of digital marketing campaigns
• Be responsible for updating and maintaining our website
• Be responsible for devising and implementing social media campaigns across all platforms
• Be responsible for devising, designing, implementing and tracking the success of in-store marketing campaigns
• Have strong strategic and planning capabilities and be able to identify market trends and opportunities
• Have the demonstrated ability to develop new business strategies in collaboration with internal stakeholders across multiple brands and locations
• Have sound project management skills with the ability to handle multiple deadlines 
• Have excellent analytic skills with the ability to evaluate and report on ROI
• Have excellent event planning and roll out capabilities
• Have an ability to develop and manage internal and external stakeholders
• Have the ability to work to budgets, and present monthly financial reports
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Have prior experience in developing database contacts with business organisations
