About the opportunity
We are currently seeking an experienced Analytics Insights Lead to join our team on a parental leave contract through to the end of March 2019. As the Analytics Insights Lead you will drive the engagement with business decision makers, stakeholders and campaign managers to foster a vibrant dialogue to ensure that analytic investigations deliver useful results for strategic decisions, customer experience and market campaign performance. Leverages Bupa’s big data platform and other key information assets to drive fact based insights and action. Provides leadership in creating simple, clear and appealing visualisations so that the data tells a story.
- Work in virtual teams of business, marketing and data professionals to engage a dialogue about what success looks like
- Lead the development of scenarios and hypotheses for analytic investigation and the design and development analytic insights for strategic decisions, customer experience and campaign performance
- Produce effective visualisations that enable people to easily understand information
- Communicate complex information in a clear, succinct manner
- Provide thought leadership in data visualisation techniques and tools and stay across industry trends
Your background
- Outstanding facilitation skills and business acumen
- Practical experience in developing rich visualisations, backed by a sound knowledge of leading practice and principles
- Experience in person-centred design techniques
- Demonstrated ability to work well within virtual and agile team environments
- An understanding of big data platforms and architecture
- The ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical people
- Able to work with a high level of autonomy
- Relevant qualifications in business, economics, science or similar
