Communications and Engagement Partner

Let’s talk about the role:

In this role you will work within the HR team supporting ResMed’s people and culture programs. The primary aim of this role is to enable the organisation to attract, engage and retain employees while developing diverse talent pipelines filled with people who have different backgrounds, experiences and thoughts and work towards building a global workplace where all employees know they can do their best work and be their unique selves. This role has a strong focus on internal employee communications, belonging, inclusion and diversity (BID), engagement and change strategies and programs.

As a trusted communications consultant to the Chief HR Officer and members of HR Leadership Team, you'll provide informed advice and innovative ideas on how to best communicate with and engage employees within relevant people and culture programs. This includes:

  • creation of dynamic content
  • editing internal employee communications materials
  • partnering to identify, leverage and integrate technology that will increase the effectiveness of internal employee communications

You'll know that strength lies in the discovery and work to aggregate and analyse employee demographic data and conduct research based on data findings. This includes preparing summary reports, dashboards and recommendations based on analytical insights for review with key stakeholders. From this you will develop toolkit to support the wider HR team to manage communications and facilitate dialogue with business partners and employees.

You're a passionate, curious go-getter and an engaging, hands-on, transformational communications professional with a pride and personal interest in your craft.

  • Ideally you'll have at least 3-5 years’ experience in internal communications, HR, Organisational Development, Corporate Communication or Business Administration - preferably gained from a previous global role where you were working across regions
  • Seasoned in writing purposefully with the ability to demonstrate an in-depth understanding of your target audience through your highly effective writing style and considerable expertise in high impact messaging
  • The ability to think strategically about your communication approach to the business
  • You'll be a digitally-savvy professional with an ability to measure your success from data analytics
  • A genuine passion for diversity and deepening a culture of belonging and engagement in the workplace;driving meaningful results that ultimately impact our leaders, employees and customers
  • Exemplary project management skills with the ability to oversee and deliver across multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment; together with the ability to build/manage project plans, engagement plans, road-maps and dashboards.
  • A proven track record and the ability to demonstrate success in using data/insights to develop and evolve people and culture strategies and programs.
  • Experience partnering and collaborating with HRBPs, HR CoE's, Diversity Councils, Committees and employee communications on the development and implementation of internal strategies, tools and communications that support people and culture initiatives.
