Job Description
We are currently searching for a Marketing Manager to fulfil a full-time position at our head office in Warrnambool, Victoria. Qualified candidates will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, a strong ability to multi-task and have a friendly can do attitude that will fit well with our team culture.
Responsibilities:
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for the strategic development and subsequent implementation of our marketing plan to attract and achieve the business sales targets/volumes that have been set.
- Communicate effectively and work collaboratively with all departments
- Deliver the implementation of the marketing Strategy to agreed timescales and budget.
- Manage marketing budget and monthly reconciliation with assistance from finance.
- Manage and ensure implementation of tactical marketing calendar, Website, catalogue and marketing material.
- Monitor competitor marketing activity on a regular basis and use insight to improve performance or product offering.
- Understand target customer profiles deliver programs and messaging targeted at each identified target segment.
- Prepare and submit weekly and quarterly marketing reports showing effectiveness of marketing efforts.
Skills:
Holding a formal qualification, you will have strong, demonstrated marketing experience preferably within the concrete & construction industry. This combined with your proven track record in delivering strategic, commercial and successful marketing plans will set you up for success.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Intermediate knowledge of software such as MS Office and Google Sheets, and ideally MyOB Exo experience
- Strong problem solving skills, high attention to detail and the ability to use initiative and exercise sound judgement and ability to prioritise workload during busy periods.
- Positive 'can do' attitude with the ability to work autonomously or within a team
