About the position:
Taking over from an established position, we're looking for a self-motivated, ambitious and passionate professional who has the ability to deliver results fast, while enjoying the culture and empowerment that an educational events business can offer.
With at least 4 year experience in conferences/event operations, your responsibility will be to develop, produce and deliver events from start to finish within a budget.
Experience leading team is essential, as you will also manage the events coordinator and a team of 15-30 on event days.
You will work in a young progressive work culture where there is plenty of opportunities to grow.
About you:
- Minimum 4 years experience organising conferences and events
- Strong negotiation skills
- Strong operational and planning
- Experience delivering on time and on budget
- Problem solving skills
- Ability to multi-task and manage priorities
- Ability to travel interstate regularly and occasionally work weekends for events
- Someone who thrives on travel and the long days that lead up to an event is essential.
- Ability to build strong working relationships both internally and externally
- A genuine "can do attitude"
- Experience managing team members
- A Passionate, Energetic and Hardworking Personality
