The position
 
Are you a natural when it comes to bringing marketing initiatives to life?  Are you a skilled relationship builder, a detail-oriented organiser and end-to-end project coordinator? Here’s your opportunity to make your mark. As our Marketing Specialist, you will provide strategic, creative and administrative support delivering marketing and brand activities nationally. 
 
In this diverse role, you will work closely with our Marketing, Communications, Membership, Events and Business Development teams, receive briefs and translate business challenges to enable the delivery of insights-led marketing solutions. Responsibilities will include:
 

  • Implementing strategies and tactics to support engagement, retention, membership renewal and event participation
  • Playing a key role driving the development of marketing materials, receiving briefs from stakeholders, advising on timelines and scope, and coordinating output of the marketing production team
  • Supporting the National Marketing Manager in the development of marketing plans aligned to RACGP’s business objectives
  • Monitoring and measuring the effectiveness of campaigns and initiatives

 
 
The team
 
The Marketing Specialist role sits within a close-knit marketing team and collaborates closely across departments and interstate faculties to support brand awareness, targeted marketing campaigns and initiatives, and finding ways to deliver a better experience for our members. We’re a high-functioning department, full of enthusiastic, hard-working and passionate people who are experts in their respective fields.
 
 
The candidate
 
With a strong understanding of marketing and brand management principles, you will be confident interacting with stakeholders at all levels providing advice and developing value-add solutions. If you have diverse marketing experience and are skilled in creative development and the production process, then this could be the role for you.
 
To be successful in the role you will also be able to demonstrate the following:
