Scope of Role

The Marketing and Communications Coordinator’s role is to support efficient and effective marketing and communication.

The role is responsible for aligning marketing and communication our Client's branding to meet required deliverables and key performance indicators (KPIs). This role also provides coordination of social media and event/conference management.  

 

Key Responsibilities

The Marketing and Communications Coordinator works collaboratively with the National Manager Programs and the Programs Team to meet the key responsibilities of:

Coordination of communications and marketing

  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to maintain consistent messaging to Registrants and external stakeholders
  • Manage communications portals including generic emails
  • Prepare clear and compelling communications across all communication channels to a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Assess and review communication channels (website, social media and other electronic communications) and resources to maintain consistency of messaging, and alignment to our Client's values and strategic objectives
  • Maintain, monitor and support adherence to our Client's branding and style guide
  • Respond promptly to communication and correspondence from Registrants and other stakeholders
  • Advise and assist in developing and preparing marketing campaigns and event/conference contribution that align with our Client's branding and values 
  • Assist in the provision of marketing and communications advice and assistance to  stakeholders as required
  • Collect and analyse marketing and communications data

Programs Team Collaboration

  • Work collaboratively within the Programs Team to meet deliverables
  • Participate in planning, development and evaluation of projects and activities undertaken by the Programs Team
  • Coordinate projects as required
  • Attend health and industry events e.g. conferences as a representative of our Client
  • Participate in quality improvement activities to support ISO 9001 certification 
  • Accept other duties and responsibilities as negotiated from time-to-time

Qualifications and Experience

  • Demonstration of verbal and written communications skills is essential
  • Previous experience in marketing and/or communication roles is essential
  • Previous experience in the health or not-for-profit sector is desirable
  • Holding or working towards an undergraduate degree in marketing and/or communications is highly desirable.
