An exciting opportunity is available for National Category Manager to develop, coordinate and implement strategic activities to deliver the right selection of products at the right price to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
Reporting directly to the General Manager – Category Management and supported by a Category Specialist you will responsible for;
- Determining and driving the category growth strategy
- Determining the product range (Branded and Own Brand) for designated categories
- Determining optimum product price positioning
- Delivering on EBIT and revenue budgets
- Analysing product categories for profit enhancement opportunities
- Ensuring consistent pricing strategy across all customer segments to mitigate conflict and margin risk
- Driving the category strategy with analytics and support the business with category insights
- Assisting sales team in delivering customer value proposition
As our successful candidate you have solid proven commercial experience in a senior category or merchandising role within a fast paced B2B environment ideally with a focus on goods for re-sale.
