We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Digital Marketing guru to join our marketing communications team. Working for one of the world’s best-known brands, in this role you will support the digital marketing strategy and align data-driven insights to strengthen the online user experience for the Australian and New Zealand markets. Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, you will use your in-depth knowledge of digital technologies combined with CRM and content marketing to continually bridge the gap between the offline and online customer purchasing journey.    

The key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Social media platforms co-ordination: daily operations overseeing our multiple social media platforms across; Facebook, LinkedIn, Snap Chat and Instagram. You will drive the daily posts across each platform and ensure alignment and consistency across brand messaging. You will amplify and being our events to life using live streaming and video production and assist in crafting the story behind our brands positioning throughout each event. Fan engagement and developing exciting content will be second nature to you. You’ll embrace new ways of working, breaking down the traditional norms of speaking to customers and obtaining their data to drive sales. You will use your audience to drive insights and provide personalised and tailored messaging.    
  • Media advertising: You will determine the best combination of media to achieve the objectives aligned to campaigns, vehicle launches and to support our always on branding strategy. The scope of ads will cover social media and display advertising as well as other innovative new ad formats including new trials. You will use real time data to rigorously optimise our ads on a daily basis and ensure you are familiar with lookalike ads, programmatic, custom audiences and retargeting formats.
  • Project co-ordination: co-ordinate the daily operations of multiple online projects (local and global) These include but are not limited to pricing tools, websites, search Locators and will require an individual to have an in-depth understanding of launching applications across multiple devices. You will understand and rollout Agile project methodologies and be well versed in documenting business and technical requirements for digital projects and solutions. You have experience in managing content management systems and can understand the development effort, timing and pricing impacts of changes that satisfy users and internal teams.    
  • Dealer network support: provide assistance to the dealer network on digital related topics including guidelines and solutions for new emerging marketing technologies.
  • Internal stakeholder and agency coordination:  you will work in a collaborative manner with all divisions including Sales, Aftersales, Legal and IT as well as with global headquarter and local agency coordination. 
  • Budget management:  you will keep track of multiple budgets across different currencies and be familiar with exchange rates, procurement procedures and internal processes.
  • Testing, reporting and analysis: you will constantly challenge the status quo and embrace a test and learn approach to everything you do. Platforms will be tested rigorously.  You will share insights and show thought leadership using data to optimise your strategy. This will include the enabling of attribution models, industry research, competitive analysis and benchmarking comparisons from competitor bests or, best practices from other industries.    

To be successful in this position, you will be an experienced marketer within the digital space with a strong understanding of marketing communications principles and demonstrated project management experience. You will be degree qualified in a marketing or business discipline and possess a high level of interpersonal and communication skills and will love collaborating with the team. You will be highly organised with strong time management skills and thrive working in a fast-paced team environment.  You will and you are naturally pro-active, flexible and can easily adapt to changing environments.  You will have a ‘can do’ positive attitude and enjoy working in a challenging environment where you will be stretched.  Along with your initiative and enthusiasm you will also display a strong desire to learn new skills. You will be able to work autonomously and will be dedicated to building strong relationships across a wide range of stakeholders both internally and externally.  You will be proficient in MS Office packages, along with the following software packages: Adobe PhotoShop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Flash and Adobe Dreamweaver, as well as web and social analytic tools. You will have sound knowledge of digital imaging (photography, manipulation, colour correction) and intermediate HTML skills. You will be an expert in Omniture, Google Analytics, Tagging and Targeting methods. You will have completed a business or marketing discipline with a strong focus on digital marketing related topics.
