Concept Event Management manages conferences, exhibitions, events and awards programs around Australia and Australasia. Our clients include associations, corporate and government bodies. We are known for our high standards and creativity, with much of our work for repeat clients.
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Conference Manager to join our small team in running national and international conferences and events. You will need a minimum of 5 years' experience as a Conference Manager. This is not a sales role.
You will be responsible for managing a number of conferences each year, including budgeting, timelines, suppliers and venues. You will have the support of an experienced conference coordinator, conference assistant, and sponsorship and exhibition manager. You will report to the directors with autonomy to manage your own projects.
You will have appropriate qualifications and a proven track record in conference management in Australia with accreditation, or working towards accreditation as an AMM or CEM. The ability to lead and manage a small, professional team is critical. The role requires travel in Australasia. Experience using Events Air and proficient computer skills are a must.
