Brown Brothers Engineers Australia is one of three well-established, market leaders in the pump and water industry privately owned by the Mace Group. All companies are major distributors of globally recognised pump brands and manufactured pump systems across Australia and New Zealand. We are looking for a proactive Marketing Administration Assistant to assist the National Marketing Manager part-time in the daily activities for all subsidiaries.

The role will be based at our Meadowbrook office and involves supporting the company in its primary marketing and administration duties with a goal to increase growth and revenue through our sales and marketing channels.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Updating and maintaining the marketing department's documentation, registers and customer databases.
  • Liaising with suppliers regarding sourcing sales materials and marketing resources.
  • Tracking and reporting on campaigns and activities in order to guide improvements.
  • Uploading and maintaining marketing material on online libraries, website and social media sites.
  • Assisting with the organisation of marketing branded materials and literature.
  • Assisting with the production of marketing communications both for print and online.
  • Writing copy for all marketing collateral, including brochures, newsletters, emails and websites.
  • Assisting with the production of artwork, sourcing images, drafting and editing designs, writing and checking copy.
  • Providing support for marketing events and exhibitions as required.
  • General administration and office support functions.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A sound understanding of (or willingness to learn) marketing principles.
  • Demonstrate effective project management, administration and organisational skills.
  • The ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written.
  • Computer proficient with Microsoft Office. Basic design skills with Adobe InDesign and Adobe Photoshop are not necessary but would be an advantage.
  • Ability to work both autonomously and within a team environment.
  • Continually demonstrate a willingness to learn, follow directions and still have own initiative.

This is a part-time role (20-24 hours per week) within standard office hours. Some flexibility can be offered regarding days/hours worked.
