The Canstar Digital Team is responsible for managing all digital assets to ensure that they continue to exceed customer expectations and drive revenue growth for the organisation. As a Digital Specialist within this team, you play an active role in supporting the successful delivery of the Canstar Gold digital strategy.  This includes identifying, scoping and collaborating with team members in the delivery of new digital initiatives. The role reports to the Digital Lead, Banking (Canstar Gold) and works closely with the wider digital team.

What you will be doing

• Conducting regular competitor and market analysis to identify opportunity, patterns, and trends with the aim of identifying new opportunities for Canstar Gold digital products within the banking vertical.
• Working in partnership with team members and key stakeholders to support the creation of the digital product roadmap for Canstar Gold Banking vertical.
• Supporting in the creation of business cases and project documentation including requirement specifications, success metrics and wireframes where applicable.
• Work collaboratively with User Experience, Design and optimization specialists to improve the user experience for Canstar Gold customers
• Creating user stories that provide sufficiently detailed requirements for development and test teams, priorities these appropriately as part of regular backlog grooming sessions and participate in business acceptance testing of changes to Canstar Gold digital assets.
• Work together with technology and delivery teams to ensure that all digital initiatives are delivered within agreed timeframes, to agreed budget and with agreed scope.
• Analysing behavioural and digital data to identify patterns, trends and likely areas for improvement.
• Providing regular digital product reporting and share insights on the performance of Canstar Gold digital assets

What you need to bring to the role

• Considerable experience in a similar role and relevant tertiary qualifications.
• Digital product management experience, including the ability to identify new opportunities, scope requirements for these and prioritise digital work effectively.
• Project management skills and experience supporting the delivery of major initiatives.
• Significant understanding of user experience principles and the importance of customer-centred design practices.
• Solid understanding of data analytics and how to use data to make informed decisions that will drive customer engagement and revenue growth. 
• Proven time management and organisational skills, with the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex technical terminology into language that can be readily understood by non-technical audiences.

What will give you the extra edge

• Prior experience within a financial services environment will be highly regarded.
• Experience working within an agile delivery environment and using JIRA and Confluence.
