Leverage your well-developed communication, coordination and project management skills while contributing to a large-scale program in a highly respected government agency dedicated to sustainability and the environment. As the Community Engagement Officer, your genuine, engaging and consultative manner will make a difference as you act as a key contact understanding the voice of the community and promoting environmental understanding and initiatives.
  
Working closely with the Communication and Engagement Manager, you will lead the development and implementation of the organisation’s community engagement strategy. While gaining exposure to senior level stakeholders, this strategy will have a significant educational focus as you promote greater awareness, appreciation and understanding of environmental initiatives.  
  
A “can do” attitude, marketing and communications experience and a focus on community and stakeholder engagement are integral for this opportunity.  You will be known for your proactive and energetic team approach, strong relationship management and excellent communication skills. Unafraid to get out into the community and work with stakeholders at every level you will be driven, engaging and passionate about delivering outcomes.
  
Presenting with experience in the public sector working in stakeholder and community relations, communications and events, you will be passionate about enhancing your ability to navigate large and complex organisations and looking to further your career within stakeholder and community engagement.
