A leading public relations, communication and marketing agency, with an enviable client roster and a brilliant team that is growing quickly, is looking for a Marketing, PR and Communications Account Manager, based from our Central Coast head office but working across our two offices in NSW.

Reporting to the General Manager and Managing Director our newest Marketing, PR & Communications Account Manager will deliver exceptional strategic solutions to our clients, helping further develop business across our portfolios.

Joining our ever-growing team, applicants would be required to manage and liaise with clients, pitch to media, undertake a variety of writing tasks and implement marketing and communication strategies in a fast-paced and creative office environment.

This role would expose you to a wide range of projects and activities, including media management, digital and social media marketing, public relations and event coordination and dealing with internationally and nationally recognised brands in the fields of sport, health, retail, lifestyle and leisure.

Essential:

  • Strong writing, editing and proof reading skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Outlook,PowerPoint and Excel
  • A valid driver's licence (P1 or higher) and own vehicle
  • A desire to work in an office with a team of driven and creative individuals
  • An enthusiastic personality
  • The confidence and resilience required to deal with a fast-paced working environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Social media knowledge – primarily Facebook, Twitter and Instagram


Preferred:

  • A tertiary qualification in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or Journalism
  • Experience in journalism, public relations or copywriting
  • Industry contacts
  • Experience in customer service
  • Experience as an Account Executive/Manager


Your role would include:

  • Managing and liaising with clients on a regular basis
  • Writing media releases
  • Developing engaging and professional editorial content including website copy, newsletter content, creative content, reports and tender submissions for a diverse range of clients
  • Editing and proof reading content
  • Developing strategic marketing and communications plans
  • Attending events where required
