About the Role:

We currently have an exciting 6-month contract opportunity (with a view to permanency) for an experienced communications and marketing assistant to join our Brisbane team and assist in the delivery of our marketing strategy. This is a newly created role so you will have the ability to make your mark and add real value.

Communications and Marketing Assistant responsibilities:

• Assisting the team with the planning, development, execution and review of internal and external marketing materials and campaigns
• Assisting with marketing content across a variety of platforms to drive positive brand engagement
• Assisting with local sponsorship programme management
• Maintaining the currency of business profiles in industry directories
• Analysing data from social media channels to determine their impact and worth

About You:

• Flexible, collaborative and creative mindset
• Copy writing experience is mandatory
• Undergraduate degree in marketing or tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, Journalism and/or media is advantageous
• Strong skills across all social media platforms
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
• At least 4 years of digital marketing experience
• Experience in developing marketing collateral
• Production and printing of marketing materials
• Graphic design experience is highly desirable
