As a Digital Communications Advisor, you will develop and implement digital communications solutions

Your new company
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Digital Communications Advisor to join a large team and drive the marketing and communications function for a Victorian State Government organisation. This is a temporary to permanent opportunity, with exciting exposure to a multitude of Victorian government projects.

Your new role
In this highly rewarding and stimulating role, you will support internal and external communications with a strong focus on digital and online platforms. You will be responsible for the content creation of corporate communications. You will also be required to engage and manage key stakeholders involved with the multitude of sub-projects within a larger project. A key element of your role will be the planning and execution of communications strategies for major initiatives within this project, to best engage a variety audiences.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role you will possess the following skills and attributes:

• Prior experience in a similar position within the government sector is preferable
• Experience in implementing and evaluating internal and external communications including working with designers, photographers, online communications specialists and staff
• Experience with web design and development, and the effective design and format of communications materials
• Demonstrated capacity to produce high quality online and digital content through varied system platforms
• Demonstrated ability is CMS (Drupal and Matrix), website management, SEO and Google Analytics
• Understanding of User Experience methodologies and standards
• Strongly developed interpersonal and verbal communication skills in order to build rapport easily with existing key stakeholders
• Adaptability and versatility to be able to hit the ground running within this exciting moving project
