Leading ASX-listed media company is seeking a passionate Insights Executive / Researcher to join their growing team. This key role will see you working with leading global and iconic Australian media brands across the fashion, health, beauty, retail and FMCG industries.
An exciting opportunity has just arisen for an Insights Executive to join the team and help their Insights and Strategy department in achieving their vision of turning the business into the number one consumer insights experts in the industry.
  
Reporting to the Insights Manager and working closely with the Head of Strategy and Insights, you will be responsible for:
  • Running and managing projects with senior support, including taking a brief, writing questionnaires, using data to extract the key points of the story, checking data
  • Proposing solutions for problems and giving creative solutions
  • Writing insights briefs
  • Working with the team to identify opportunities for process efficiencies, this includes improving the research processes, use of templates etc
  • Managing the launch of all quant research projects on the respondent community
  • Working across qualitative and cultural insights briefs
  • Supporting the Head of team in creating presentations
A creative thinker with tenacity and a proactive attitude, you will have:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business Administration, Market Research, Marketing or a related field
  • 1 - 2 years' experience in quantitative research (in a research agency or in-house) across a variety of methodologies, or be a recent graduate with relevant experience and a strong interest in research and insights
  • The ability to run and manage projects, including taking a brief, writing questionnaires and using data to extract the key points of the story
  • The ability to write a strong insights brief and turn data into insights
  • Analytical thinking and ability to think strategically and creatively about a problem.
  • Driven by curiosity and have a creative, “out of the box” approach
  • Strong software skills (MS Office and database, Q or similar) and exposure to Roy Morgan/Nielson will be highly regarded
