We are looking for a creative and innovative Marketing Manager with strong e-commerce  experience and demonstrated capacity for strategic thinking. Must be a customer focused, experienced individual who can lead a digital and social marketing team and develop strategies across all channels.

The Company develops, manufactures and distributes scientifically validated anti-aging technologies in both the medicinal products and beauty/wellbeing segments.  As the company rapidly expands locally and internationally they have an outstanding career opportunity for a Marketing Manager with strong branding background in consumer products.

This is a newly created, hands-on leadership opportunity for an outstanding marketer and strategist to continue on the path of global growth.

The Role

Reporting directly to the CEO, the position has the responsibility for the overall digital marketing and e-commerce success of the Company’s consumer health brand internationally. Specifically, the person will have key responsibility for the marketing of the products in various media channels, primarily digital and social but also in traditional media.

You will take full ownership for ensuring the success of the brand’s e-commerce and digital activities and manage the interface between internal and external stakeholders including advertising and PR agencies, retailers, sales managers, and a digital and social marketing team.

The key responsibilities:

  • Ensure increased brand awareness and recognition;
  • Develop and implement successful advertising strategy across digital and social channels including SEO, SEM, Display, Content, Social and eDM;
  • Develop powerful marketing collateral which can be used in multiple channels to increase brand awareness and drive sales;
  • Analyse campaign performance to drive return on investment, using tools such as Google Analytics and prepare regular reports for decision making
  • Gather data from all sources and analyze using best practices to improve performance
  • Gather sound knowledge of the market and leverage those data for segmentation and targeting
  • Optimize e-commerce platforms to maximise sales
  • Maintain relationships with key external suppliers and agencies
  • Work with pharmacy distributors to develop and implement promotional activities and balance these activities with internally driven campaigns;
  • Day-to-day management of marketing collateral production by internal and external teams;
  • Assist with campaigns and develop content for printed and published marketing material
  • Manage a small team of marketing specialists in-house

Essential criteria:

  • 5+ years’ experience in a digital marketing role, preferably in direct to consumer areas with demonstrated ability to deliver brand advertising objectives
  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing and Communications or a related discipline
  • Results oriented, highly organised lateral thinker with excellent communication skills, credibility, integrity and strong people skills
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse group of stakeholders to deliver agreed outcomes
  • Demonstrated know-how across common digital marketing channels including: SEM, eDM, Affiliate, Social
  • A strong understanding of Google Analytics and other google products including Adwords, Search Console, GTM
  • Experience in using Facebook Business Manager and Facebook pixel
  • Solid understanding of web design, UX and optimisation including e.g. AB split testing
  • Ability to implement and profitably manage paid campaigns on social platforms
  • Outstanding time management, project management and organisational skills
  • Ability to think creatively and innovatively
  • Positive attitude with a hunger to grow and learn
  • Ability to innovate, leverage technology, sell ideas and engage others to work towards delivering the company’s vision
  • The ability to work independently and to develop a successful team is a must
