The impact you’ll have
- Supplier management, and more specifically the delivery and administration of large and complex commercial contracts, forms a significant part of the role, and you’ll lean on your ability to build effective relationships with these suppliers in order to perform your role effectively
- You’ll continually analyse the performance and efficiency levels of our third party suppliers, always looking for ways we can improve processes and service levels, which in-turn will satisfy the demands of our customers
- You’ll build rapport, build credibility and gain commitment across all levels of the business, effectively managing stakeholder expectations through successful delivery of business outcomes
- You’ll be a key driver in our payment channel development and expansion function, using your planning and organisation skills to ensure reliability and consistency with implementation, 3rd party management and reporting
- A key intermediary for our various Customer Correspondence teams, you’ll facilitate the flow of data and information between internal teams and external suppliers, ensuring tag orders are delivered within agreed timeframes
- Achieve monthly and annual revenue forecasts and accruals per Retailer account.
The talents you’ll bring
- A natural builder of relationships, you’ll enjoy getting on the front foot, embedding yourself in the business and collating information from a variety of sources
- Analytical and incisive, you’ll spot issues and use your own ingenuity – and that of your team – to solve problems collaboratively
- You’ll be a savvy and effective negotiator, and must have some experience that required you to manage third party supplier performance
- A lateral thinking, you won’t be afraid challenge business models and processes ultimately helping Transurban strengthen its position with existing channel partners whilst identifying future growth opportunities
- Experience in a corporate operations or procurement function will be highly advantageous, with distribution management of goods being particularly appealing.
