Our Marketing team is looking for a Marketing Operations Lead on a 12 month contract to ensure the Marketing team is a well-oiled and agile machine. Use your exceptional planning and relationship management skills to hold the Marketing team and its stakeholders to account to ensure the function delivers on its objectives.

 

Your purpose

As the Marketing Operations Lead, you will work closely with our Chief Marketing Officer and be at the centre of our Marketing team.

Your role will involve:

  • Driving an aligned view on all marketing activities across the year, with simple visual view on the marketing calendar  (from week/monthly to annual view)
  • Implementing agile marketing process & coordinate across different marketing areas, providing advice on key tools and process changes to drive more agile marketing team
  • Developing strong & compelling Marketing decision documents for the CMO – to be used for Foxtel Executive Leadership meetings & FoxCo board presentations
  • Supporting the CMO on day to day basis coordinating key requests and simplifying communication across the team

 

Your capability

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, digital or business consulting, preferably with an MBA or similar education
  • Strong operational background, understands what it takes to translate strategy into implementation and drive results. Is detail oriented and outcome focused.
  • Strong analytical skills – experience in diving deeply into .xls and .ppt
  • Experience working in an agile environment. Understand how to run a scrum team and use Agile tools
  • Strong initiative, 'hands on' approach and commitment to achieving results
  • Clearly demonstrated project leadership ability: ability to manage projects end-to-end and build & deliver to plan independently
  • Strong communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills and a team player
  • Executive and board level presentation skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain working relationships with a wide range of senior stakeholders, especially the executive team of Foxtel, the CMO and his direct reports
