About your new role:

Working as a experienced Communication and Engagement Planner you will you will be working for an independent statutory agency who support a better life for hundreds of thousands of Australians. As an important member of the Provider and Sector Engagement team you will focus on planning the engagement activities for providers within the newly designed Provider Relationship Management model. You will also play an integral role working closely along side stakeholders within the division to ensure consistent key messaging to all providers.

Please note that all successful candidates must hold Permanent Residency and will be required to undertake a National Criminal History check.

Duties:

  • Plan national provider engagement activities
  • Work closely with stakeholders across the division to ensure consistent key messaging to providers
  • Build key relationships with stakeholders across the division
  • Design practices and resources to effectively implement the company engagement strategies
  • Analysis of trends and patterns in market responses within different regions
  • Identify the information needs of providers relating to changes to provider policies, rules and processes
  • Project management and evaluation of provider engagement approaches
  • Provide coordination and input into ministerial and parliamentary correspondence and briefings 
  • Support information sharing activities with key internal stakeholders including national office portfolios and regional offices

Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience in Communications and/or Planning and Engagement based roles
  • Ability to respond and prioritise competing and often urgent requests in a calm and efficient manner
  • High level communication abilities - both verbal and written
  • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office programs
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong business relationships
  • Strong attention to details
  • Experience in analysing information and making informed decisions
