IMG is seeking an outstanding Account Manager to become part of its Events team based in IMG’s Melbourne office. The main functions of this position is account management and implementation of the IMG Events, Partnership portfolio. The role will be responsible for overseeing client and sponsorship servicing for all events in Melbourne including but not limited to The Melbourne Marathon, The Great Ocean Road Running Festival, Tough Mudder, The Color Run and The Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show.

 

You will primarily be responsible for:

  • End to end management of the event’s premium Sponsorship Portfolio.
  • Managing relationships with all sponsors from start to finish ensuring sponsors are provided with all benefits contracted.
  • Co-ordinate, plan and deliver Sponsor workshops / forums where applicable
  • Liaise with industry stakeholders as required/directed such as Athletics Australia/Victoria, NGIV, Landscape Victoria and Flowers Victoria.
  • Working with the Marketing team to activate each sponsor’s pre-event marketing deliverables, including digital campaigns, consumer competitions and retail promotions
  • Working closely with the Operation’s team to manage each sponsor’s at-event deliverables, including remote builds and integrated onsite activity
  • Working with sponsors and clients to unlock brand led marketing initiatives

 

You will be client facing and have extensive experience in Account Management specifically with event sponsorship &/or brand activations. You will have an ability to demonstrate and provide examples from previous sponsor servicing experience desirable as well as experience in Experiential Activations, Events and Sponsorship Account Management. You will hold a tertiary qualification in events/business/marketing.
