Civcon Civil & Project Management is a West Australia Civil Construction and Project Management Company, providing services to our niche client base.

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Bid and Marketing Manager to join our energetic and close-knit team.  This role will suit a highly organised and flexible individual who has had experience working in a fast-paced bid and marketing environment. The successful candidate will be required to work collaboratively with project management to develop, communicate and present solutions to tenders with the goal of winning new projects for the Civcon business

This position is required to ensure the Company’s representation in the marketplace aligns with its corporate identity, vision and values.

This role is suited to a highly organised, energetic candidate who can work across a number of bids at a time, who has an eye for detail and has exceptional writing and communication skills and who can demonstrate success working to deadlines.  The position is predominantly 80% bid and 20% marketing.

You will be Responsible for:

• Download, review, filter and distribute tenders received from online tender search services
• Developing proposal outlines and structures
• Working with stakeholders across the organisation to ensure that they are informed in a timely manner about required tasks or changes
• Writing concise, conforming content with creativity and commerciality to the highest quality standard
• Proofreading proposals and related material
• Document formatting, layout and presentation
• Submitting bids to clients
• Meet internal and external deadlines
• Develop supporting business materials
• Ideally you have successfully designed and implemented a marketing strategy within a similar business environment.
• Solid knowledge of website analytics tools.
• Graphic Design skills utilising Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Content generation and thought leadership: writing and delivering tenders, social media content, website content and internal and external marketing content.
• A passion for identifying opportunities to improve processes or ways of working

  Essential Requirements:

• A proven track record in bid and tender responses including the project management of the response, writing, design and submissions;
• Highly organised and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
• Experience in brand management and alignment of brand across multiple groups.
• Strong research, writing and editing skills, ability to work with highly technical and complex content
• Experience with MS Office, including:
  • Word (advanced)
  • PowerPoint (intermediate/ advanced)
  • Excel (intermediate)
  • Project or Visio experience would be regarded (but not essential)
• Experience with InDesign and other Adobe products regarded (but not essential).

  Desirable Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Marketing or Business or related discipline.
• Minimum of five (5) years in a similar role.
• Ability to multi-task - able to manage time and competing priorities to deliver effective outcomes.
• Adapt to change in a fast-paced environment - flexibility to adapt to an ever-changing environment, while maintaining focus and drive.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Word formatting.
• Effective written and verbal communication - communicate clearly and concisely, with impact and credibility using appropriate language, style and terminology.
• Experience managing multiple brands.
