Our client, a well-known non-for profit organisation that works towards providing compassionate, high quality health care to the Australian market. They are offering an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join their team to develop and deliver stakeholder engagement and change communications activities across the business.
About the role
Working closely with the Programme Director and reporting to the Group Manager Internal Communications Manager. You will be responsible for proactively developing, building and managing the internal communications strategy for the programme. The primary focus is to build awareness, excitement and adoption among stakeholders and audiences for successful delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement communication change plans and initiatives that help achieve the information and engagement objectives
- Partner and support leaders, and build relationships to achieve desired transformation outcomes through a focus on the people side of change
- Provide expert communication advice and analysis to help build the awareness, excitement and adoption, supporting behavioural changes
- Develop and maintain project communication tools, templates and processes including intranet site, stakeholder newsletter and project videos
- Co-ordinate and collaborate with peer communication groups for best outcomes.
- Build and maintain strong, effective working relationships with key stakeholder groups and individuals as well as manage and co-ordinate the communications network.
- Work collaboratively with external communications to ensure message consistency across all audience groups.
About the candidate
You will have a track record delivering first class communications change within a programme & project management environment, gained within large complex environment. You will bring an understanding of the importance of good stakeholder management, solid planning and - above all - high-impact and credible hands-on delivery. You'll be comfortable devising and shaping plans within a constantly changing environment.
You'll also be adept at building key senior relationships, and of exerting your influence. Good written and face communication skills are a must.
- Minimum of 5 - 10 years in a communications change management experience in large projects
- High levels of self-motivation, drive and initiative combined with the ability to adapt to changes in circumstances
- Demonstrated understanding of, and technical competency in, managing digital channels, including online information portals and social media
- Use best-practice methodologies to support transformation change at an individual level.
- Tertiary qualifications in business, communications or related discipline.
